System of Data Collection for Industrial Scales
The purpose of the System is to collect data generated by industrial scales by means of the communication gate available in the equipment, and to process them so that they can be viewed in real production time.
It then stores the information in a database so that it can be recovered at a later time for analysis and/or producing production and control reports, being composed of two independent modules with distinct and non redundant objectives.



Collecting Module
Collects the scales data by means of a gate available in the equipment, decoding the package according to the protocol specified by the manufacturer. This module can collect data from as many as 10 scales simultaneously and with independent gate configurations. This module configures the communication gates and, in some cases, may perform as an autonomous connection module.



Data Reading Module
A module integrated to the automation supervising program that shows in real time the weight figures generated by the scales during the weighing operations. In this module, the operators make alterations of weights that were caused by some abnormal factor during the production process, the shift leaders register the end of a shift and the supervisor oversees the record of operations, with the privilege of being able to perform any task in this same module. All operations performed in this module are recorded in a log file that can be viewed by the shift leaders and by their superior.
